Woolworths Glenorie
This project consists of a new 4500m2 stand alone Woolworths Supermarket and Liquor store, along with 163 carspaces and landscaping. The project was won through a negotiated contract, whereby Inten worked in conjunction with the client to realize a 10% cost saving for the project prior to the awarding of the $9M contract.
The Woolworths Glenorie project is one of Woolworths new green initiative supermarkets and as such, includes such items as a recycled water system and the use of insulated Kingspan roof sheeting with skylights for natural lighting within the supermarket, thereby reducing electricity usage.
Additionally, the unique site has meant that we have had to work with the neighbouring businesses and residences to maintain full access for these people for the duration of the project, especially for the RSL club adjoining the rear of the site.
