Thomas Dux Grocer
Inten has been successful in being awarded the construction of the first three Thomas Dux Grocer gourmet food stores in located in Sydney NSW. Thomas Dux sells delicatessen cheese and smallgoods sliced on demand, the highest quality fresh fruit, vegetables and packaged meat, and various other quality groceries. Successful NSW projects have been completed in Lane Cove, Paddington, and Surry Hills.
Lane Cove was an eight week project that included the internal demolition of an existing supermarket, installation of new goods hoists through the roof, slab penetrations, demolition and construction of new awnings, and roofing. The new store fit out including new coolrooms, ceilings, offices/amenities and concrete polishing to the trading floor.
Paddington was a nine week program on a difficult heritage listed site at The Fiveways in Paddington. This job required scaffolding to the heritage facade, demolition of old theatre ceiling, removal of hazardous materials, excavation of footpath for new utilities, excavation of council roadway for stormwater upgrade, roof plumbing upgrade and new store fit out including new coolrooms, ceilings offices/amenities and concrete polishing. Works were completed on time and to the clients satisfaction despite the difficulties faced throughout the project.
Surry Hills is a fit out of a new tenancy in a new retail development.
This store successfully opened in June 2009 much to the delight of locals.
