Armory Wharf Cafe
This project involved the construction of a new $1.4M café in place of the old café which had been burnt to the ground. The contract for this project was a complete design and construct contract, whereby Inten were required to not only oversee and co-ordinate the design, but also resolve any design issues that arose.
In addition to this design and construct component of the project, there was also the issues of the extremely condensed construction program of 16 weeks from awarding of contract to final occupation of the building to deal with, along with the delicate working environment of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority grounds and the unique materials being used by the architects, such as aramax roof sheeting and core-ten steel wall cladding and roof sheeting.
Inten not only met their construction program deadlines, but they also gave the clients a building that exceeded their expectations and is now set to be a permanent fixture and drawcard in the Blaxland Riverside Park.
